This is a copy of a Georgia O’Keeffe painting called “Sky Above Clouds IV”. I suggested recreating this to the client because I had recently seen it in the Art Institute of Chicago and thought it would fit perfectly in this space. The original measures 24’x8’. This one measures 12’x4’ so, exactly half. Compared to the original, I used colors based around the home’s surroundings.

The clients asked for hand drawn illustrations of where they met, got engaged, toasted and then celebrated. The couple got married in a small ceremony in the Dominican Republic so they wanted to also include that in the invite.
